The Odyssey of the Mind Program is up and running for the new school year!! The problems are available and the 2007/2008 program guide has been posted. It's time to pull your team together and start thinking about which problem to tackle for this next year! Silicon Valley Region Formed

We have formed a new Silicon Valley Region for 2007/2008. The Silicon Valley Region consists of the counties of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Bonito, Monterey, part of San Mateo county and part of Alameda County. Register to receive the Silicon Valley newsletter on the Silicon Valley website in the lower right corner. Both regions will work together on trainings and tournaments with some of the trainings being held in Contra Costa area and some in the San Jose area. Your Co-Directors are Barbara Han and Barbara Krishnan.

Judges Training: TBD
SF Bay Regional Tournament: February 23, 2008 (location TBD, date tentative)
Silicon Valley Regional Tournament: March 8, 2008 (location TBD, San Jose area)
State Tournament: April 5, 2008 (location TBD)
World Tournament: May 31 - June 3, 2008 University of Maryland
REGISTRATION

The online registration system is up and available. You can register your School by visiting: http://www.odysseyofthemind.com/registration/default.php
You can either register online and pay with a credit card or download a form and pay by check/purchase order. Remember only 1 membership per school is necessary unless you will have multiple teams performing the same problem. You can always add additional memberships later if you need them.

No Longer Coaching but Love the Program!!

We have a spot for you!! We have several positions open on the SF Bay Regional Board including:
Spont. problem captain, Tournament Director(s) and Scorekeeper. There are also volunteer coordinator positions at the Regional Tournament and we always could use your help judging. So instead of telling us to take you off the list, email us and let us know how you'd like to help!!
Monthly Newsletter

This is the first of the newsletters that will be published at least monthly. The newsletters will be numbered and will be posted on the regional website so if you miss one you will find it there. If you know of a co-coach or someone else that should be receiving the newsletter send us an email and we will add them to the list. info@sfbayodysseyofthemind.org If you wish to be removed from the email distribution simply send us an email and let us know.
